Like an early bird I'm here at Greifensee and enjoying Winter's first blanket. But despite the chilliness, this is a beautiful moment when the Winter arrives. By the way, standing still for about 114 seconds ... is a challenge

Same lake but a more silent / peaceful location. I slightly overexposed this photograph to intensify the "pastel" mood and to connect scenery with the fog.

It was silent and peaceful once I photographed this scene. But suddenly two old fishermen approached the pier and ... the silence was gone ...

Kauai – Hanalei Sunset Pier
The sun was behind a "fat" dark cloud and I was a little bit disappointed about this lost opportunity ... but hope dies last and I got rewarded by a purple mood.

Hawaii – Kauai – Waimea Recreation Pier
After spending a whole day at Polihale Beach (with huge waves) I stopped by at the Waimea Recreation Pier and photographed this scenery. Normally, the pier fishers are very busy to that time because this place is well known for pole fishing and crabbing. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the warm evening sun and I was ready for dinner.

Hawaii – Kauai – Hanalei Sunset Pier
Hi folks
I want to let everyone know that I'm back from my vacation now. Kauai is really a special exotic destination. Yes, traveling from Europe to Hawaii isn't a short weekend trip but it's really worth. Once you are there you will be rewarded with wonderful impressions which are really unique. So, the pleasant part, having the pleasure and making photographs is over and now starts the real work - post-processing. So, let's start with a first sunset shot "Hanalei Sunset Pier" which I took in Hanalei. The luck was a little bit on my side because the moon was rising to the same time.
