The little Stromboli lighthouse island is only a jump away from the "mother" island.

A high-key long shutter composition (around 120 sec) of one of the many lighthouses at Ile d'Ouessant. The various shades were created by the heavy tide change and its streaming.

Ile d'Ouessant is an island located at the west of Brittany and measures around 5km x 8km. It can be reached by ferry or airplane (Cessna sized). The rough shoreline and the huge lighthouse is really breath taking.
Enjoy a 128 sec view

The lighthouse of le conquet is one of the many that dot the shore of the rough coast of Brittany.
I captured this photograph round about 30 min after sunset and opened the shutter for about 32 seconds to get the smooth surface of the sea.

Gerry
This fisher was moving around and never stopped longer than 2 sec at one place. But after a while he found his inner peace for about 20 seconds. Enough for my long exposure
Enjoy it.

From the mountain to the sea, but one thing remains the same: The chilliness! The weather here in Switzerland wasn't so good that's why I decided to drive to the Normandy. This place is always a visit worth! Here my first shot after a long, long drive. Enjoy the sunset mood.
Cheers

The early bird catches the morning light
It wasn't so easy to leave the warm bed and to move the tired body towards the harbor ... until I saw the magic light.

The fishermen are very busy during the morning hours. They are coming back from fishing and discharge their catch. They are in a hurry because of the tide change. There is no discharge possibility during low tide. But I was focused more at the lighthouse
