Italy – Venice – Burano – Watercolors #1
Burano, the most colorful place on earth. Maybe it's a little bit to optimistic but this place is amazing. So, if you are in Venice, take a Vaporetti and go to the nearby island Burano. This time I was lucky having a blue-foggy sky that worked like a giant softbox. Enjoy the watercolors.

Aged Burano Window
As always - Burano street scenes are colorful .... Some houses are properly maintained and get yearly a fresh coat of paint. But other houses are waiting for a new owner and their aren't in a good shape. However, I like the structure and the various shades of color.

Venice – Rialto Pescaria – Fish Market
I visited Venice late November 2009 in the hope to have some fog in the laguna and to have the opportunity to make some foggy night scenes. Well, there was no fog at all but a lot of rain - all day long.
This is the unique old fish market with its old plastic curtains.
