Switzerland – Etang de la Gruere B&W
Color or B&W - what do you prefer? I personally tend to the B&W version due to the strong contrast and forms.
Have a great day.

Switzerland – Etang de la Gruere
I visited the small lake "Etang de la Gruere" today that is located very close to Saignelegier, Canton of Jura / Switzerland. My Hassy did a superb job and captured the difference in brightness very well.
Enjoy the tranquility

Switzerland – Saentis – Full Moon Night – 20:13
Same day, just a couple of hours later and another mountain. This was indeed an easy undertaking. The Saentis is just an one hour drive away and the cable car brings you to the top of the mountain. Well, the sunset wasn't so wonderful because of heavy fog/clouds but to my luck the other side offered some interesting opportunities - photographing the full moon.
Enjoy the view.

Gerry
Switzerland – Grosser Mythen – 06:45am
Well, my initial plan was to photograph a sunset scenery from the top of the Grosser Mythen (check the link and you can see the mountain) but the weather was (let's put it that way) not so perfect. So I changed my plans and stayed over night at the top of the mountain. As you can imagine, the mountain cottage was still closed. It was quite windy and chilly but my sleeping bag did a fantastic job. And yes, the morning scenery was significantly better the evening.

Switzerland – Seenalpersee – Melting Time !
Perfect weather conditions and my new Hassy were the reasons for this early spring hike to the lake "Seenalpersee". Well, the way up to the lake took longer than expected due to deep soft snow fields. Yes, I missed the sunrise but the scenery compensated for it. Despite the bright sun and the strong contrasts the medium format sensor did a fantastic job.
Some additional informations:
- Hasselblad H4D-40
- HC 28mm 2.8
- f16
- 1/250
- ISO 200
- pano of 4 single exposures
... and yes, the files are huge!
Enjoy it.
